In 2013, the company designed and built a new line of top tier induction equipment and continually adds new features to the machine’s operating systems. Also designed and manufactured in-house were a new stock of coaxial cables, ThermoFlex flexible induction cables, over 100 different sizes of bolt heating inductors as well as tube sheet coils.
New portable induction heating machines have been sold worldwide and the company has replaced 85% of its legacy fleet with new machines.
Thermo International has also quadrupled the size of its rental fleet of chillers, 60kW, 120kW and 200kW machines, and 60kW brazing machines. From preheating to thermal expansion and even high temperature thermal cycle testing can be done with these machines. The firm achieved a new temperature record of 2,000 degrees Celsius for one of our clients.
